Panama Parkway, is a national company dedicated to the manufacture of excellent quality chemical products. We are concerned with ensuring the quality of our products, which represents a priority, commitment and solid corporate value.
Our history
The company began operations in 1985 as Star Chemical, Inc., later the name was changed to Parkway de Panamá with a single natural person registration. In 1987, it was established as Parkway de Panamá, SA giving rise to a company specialized in the development and manufacture of detergents, chemical specialties for the industry, mainly food. Their managers were the gentlemen Jose R. Young and Robert Whitaker.
As a result of commercial procedures, the rights to use some formulas, names of detergents and chemical specialties were obtained from the Parkway Research Inc franchise based in Houston Texas, with approvals from the United States Food Drug Administration (FDA). The efforts resulted in the commercial and service development for the lines: institutional, industrial, food and additive for water treatment.
