The beggining
The company starts its activities in the year 1985, and was founded by the lords Jose R. Young and Robert Whitaker, who together with the lord Sam Star, President and Legal Representatives of Star Chemical companies, Inc. and Parkway Research Corporation located in Miami, Florida y Houston Texas, they manage to acquire through Mr. Sam Star, the granting of the franchise by adopting the name of Parkway de Panamá and establishing it with a Single Taxpayer Registry (RUC) of natural person of Mr. José R. Young.
Product of the franchise, some commercial names of the country of origin are acquired with approvals from the F.D.A.. (Food Drog Administration), developing and later incorporating the lines that are currently handled such as: the industrial and institutional line (Hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc.), water treatment and other chemical specialties developed in Panama.
Panama Parkway, S.A. duly constituted and registered, starts operations with more drive and determination in the year 1987, giving rise to a company specializing in the production of locally manufactured chemical products.
